The Wizard of Christmas

If I were a magician Christmas

would negotiate a Christmas tree

In questi giorni abbiamo varcato spesso la soglia dell'ufficio postale per ritirare pacchi e pacchettini che ci sono giunti in dono da persone alle quali siamo molto affezionati e ci teniamo a mostrare tutti questi regali.
Maestra Laura ci ha fatto letteralmente sciogliere con i suoi gattini fatti a mano, da lei cuciti e realizzati. Tempo fa avevo visto questo gattino nero nel suo blog e me ne ero follemente innamorata.
Lei diceva che non era perfetto, che non era cucito bene, che poteva venire meglio, ma sono stati proprio quei particolari a intenerirmi e a farmi capitolare, d'altra parte amo l'imperfetto, le cose fatte di cuore e quando ho ricevuto quell'enorme busta imbottita che conteneva addirittura due micini, uno bianco ed uno nero, con le codine intrecciate, Laura lo sa che mi sono commossa e non sapevo come dirle grazie! Laura , sei stata dolcissima e lo sai che avrò cura di quelle due piccole creature!
A distanza di qualche giorno, quando meno ce lo aspettavamo, è arrivato un altro pacco, questa volta da Roma e a farci questa sorpresa sono stati Jacopo e Claudia , due persone alle quali vogliamo bene, due amici per noi speciali! I told you that before those peel I can not resist because I go crazy and Luke idem and the fact that you have made us the find in the package, believe us, for us means a lot! Thanks for everything, even the coasters with images of Klimt, which we appreciated so much, also because Klimt is one of my favorite artists and do not know if you knew that. I just know that looking at those pictures you thought of me!
Earlier yet another surprise, it's pack of swap organized by Zebra A Pois , which we participated tempo fa e ci teniamo tanto a ringraziare Marina per i regali che ci ha inviato, con i quali ha coniugato dolcezza e gola. La torta la mangeremo domani e siamo sicuri che ci piacerà perchè la conosciamo e quanto ai risotti, con noi ha sfondato una porta aperta, perchè abbiamo un debole per questi piatti e quel libro lo troviamo davvero prezioso, quindi grazie di tutto cuore!
Infine un altro pensiero, inviatomi da una mia paziente, Anna, una persona dolcissima! Come quelle ciabattine che indosserò in casa e che mi hanno regalato un sorriso luminosissimo!

SALMON TO CATALAN

Ingredients:

2 salmon steaks by about 350 grams each
1 red onion juice of 1

extra virgin olive oil salt and pepper

1 tablespoon white vinegar

parsley 1 large tomato salad
mayonnaise to accompany


Firstly you must slice the onion into thin slices and leave to soak in water with the tablespoon of vinegar for about half an hour .

SALMON CATALANA
Ingredients:

2 salmon fillets, Weighing about 350 g Each
1 large onion (very thin slices A Few of a red onion )
1 tomato (sliced)

fresh parsley salt and pepper to taste
extravirgin olive oil
1 tbs vinegar
1/2 lemon juice
mayonnaise sauce


Cut the red onion into thin slices and put them into cold water, add the vinegar and let rest for about 30 minutes. Cook the salmon fillets in a steamer for approximately 15 minutes or until well done.
Lay the salmon on a serving plate and pile the onion rings on top. Complete with tomato slices. Season with salt and pepper. Mix extravirgin olive oil and lemon juice and dress the fish with the sauce. Refrigerate for half an hour. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top and serve with mayonnaise sauce.
